The Volana Casket is awarded annually for 'the most enterprising cruise of any one season'.

Originally presented by Robin Harbud, a past Commodore of the Club, the award does not rely on a log of a cruise or an extensive photographic album, but on an interesting account of an enterprising trip.

Recent awards have been for a Shrimper trip from Emsworth to Poole, a row from Australia to Tasmania, a family cruise from Scotland to Italy and a motor boat trip through northern French canals.

The judges are the Rear Commodore (Sailing) and the Cruiser Captain – please contact them for an informal chat about your trip. The winner will need to be willing to present an account of the trip at the Cruisers Fitting Out Supper; if this is not convenient, another event can be arranged.
