· The race organiser is Emsworth Slipper Sailing Club.
· ESSC handicaps and RYA racing rules as amended by ESSC Sailing Instructions (see attached documents) will apply
· Entry open to mono-hull cruisers (as defined in the ESSC Sailing Instructions).
· £8 entry fee per boat, payable online in advance. Please see the entry form for bank details. Please ensure you add your boat name and 'regatta' as a reference to your payment.
· Start from CHI Race Buoy at 12.30 . The starting boat will fly a large ESSC flag. It may be a gate start or fixed line to be confirmed.
· The Race area will be in Hayling Bay see the list of probable marks in the documents.
· The Course will be given over VHF on the day on ch37 (M1) approx 30 minutes before the race and repeated 15 minutes before the race.
· Race time limit: 3 hours.
· All boats must have an ESSC handicap number. If you do not already have one, please complete the handicap data sheet. Any new handicap requests need to be made by Wednesday 23 August 2023.
· All boats to take their own finish time using GPS time only in format hh:mm:ss (BST) and note the yacht ahead and astern if possible.

· All competitors are invited to join a Regatta Supper on Saturday evening at Emsworth Slipper Sailing Club. Details to be confirmed later.
