Annual General Meeting

Hybrid meeting with both in-person and online attendance (via Zoom)

The General Committee (GC) is keen to encourage as many members as possible to engage with and attend the meeting.

The AGM will be a hybrid meeting with physical attendance at ESC as well as online attendance using Zoom.

A summary of the AGM booking and voting process is as follows;

Booking: Whether attending in person or online, each voting member will need to book to attend the meeting in order to be able to vote (as at the 2022 Financial General Meeting). An individual email address for each voter helps to ensure the integrity of the voting system. If a household has more than one registered voter but only one email address, a proxy vote may be used.

Attendance: Members can opt to attend in person or virtually (via Zoom) when they book their place. If demand exceeds capacity for in-person attendance at the Club, priority will be given first to those running the meeting, followed by those members putting forward a motion, after which places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

ElectionBuddy: Voting will take place as described below using the ElectionBuddy electronic system (as at the 2022 Financial General Meeting). Prior to the AGM, ElectionBuddy will send an email to registered email addresses, containing instructions on both how and when to submit votes. The subject line on the email will identify the action needed.
