The aim of Children on Water [COW] week is to bring junior sailors of all ages together to consolidate sailing skills and boost confidence, whilst going on picnics and exploring the harbour. Older juniors help encourage the younger sailors using the skills they have gained at the Club. It is a week which we hope will be enjoyed by all members and an opportunity to enhance our juniors' sailing experience and strengthen friendships.
This is an ESC Event, run for our junior members, funded by the Club and enabled by all our wonderful member volunteers. We need to prioritise our members and cannot accept signed in guests during this week. So please don't sign in (or sneak in!) friends and neighbours. They and the Club are not insured and it takes away opportunities for our own members.
Parents are expected to provide shore and patrol boat cover (PB2 qualification required for Cox) during the week. To volunteer for a role, log into the Members' area, then follow this link https://www.emsworthsc.org.uk/roster, look for the un-rostered duties and click on the big blue volunteer button.
Participation in this event is subject to reading and agreeing to the 'Terms Of Participation' attached within the booking.
