RNLI Quay Sale - Saturday 3 August
Emsworth and Havant RNLI Fundraising Branch are having a Quay Sale, including boat jumble, on Saturday 3 August on Emsworth quay from 09:00 to 13:00 hours. ESC members who have any boat jumble to donate, please could you bring it to ESC from Saturday 27 July. Please place it in or by the 'hippo' bag just inside the metal gates. Boat jumble will be collected on Friday 2 August at 14:00 hours.

'The Emsworth Magazine' Error In July Issue
You may have read the July issue of 'The Emsworth Magazine' which featured an article about 'Keeping Kids Busy During Summer Holidays In Emsworth'. This suggests that readers can enroll their children in sailing courses over the summer holidays and use rental equipment from Emsworth Sailing Club . There are a variety of training courses available at ESC but these are for members and the same applies for rental equipment. An apology

Emsworth Sailing Club win the Mini Yoke
A beautiful early Summer evening with a agreeable breeze and sufficient water saw the Second annual competition for the Radio Sailing Yoke between Emsworth Sailing Club and Emsworth Slipper Sailing Club. Junior Spring Regatta - review
Sadly on Sundays briefing the decision was made to cancel Mondays Regatta fleet racing due to forecast winds; it was a disappointment we couldn't get them afloat, but with the strong breeze on the course on Monday it was the right call.

Circumnavigation on Ruby II Paul Flint reports
This mini odyssey has taken us east to the Thames estuary from Chichester Harbour. We had some fabulous sailing from Hayling to Eastbourne, then on to Ramsgate, and from there up the scenic Thames, with some help from the RNLI!
