    Ollie's kitchen and bar lockdown easing: key dates and essential information

    It is great being back at the Club! Ollie and his team have reopened the Kitchen and Bar for coffees, light meals and drinks. As with previous easing there are still measures in place that we all need to take responsibility to adhere to, to support keeping ourselves, fellow members and Ollie and his team safe and following Government rules.     Zoom Speaker Evening, 15 April, 1900: "Going Boldly - Across, Beneath, and Beyond the Ocean"

    Jeremy Batch, who will be giving this intriguing talk (see poster), was the Lock Keeper at Limehouse Lock for several years. Now retired, he works as an administrator for the Cruising Association, London, where he is also a member. In his spare time Jeremy goes narrow-boating on the inland waterways, and until 2016 had a 24ft sailing cruiser, Dream. His recent Zoom talk, at Chichester Yacht Club, received rave reviews.

    Volunteering is fun!

    A current ARO says, "Having volunteered several times as Assistant Race Officer, I can thoroughly recommend the experience! Either out on Escort, or up on the terrace.     ESC and ESSC - New courses for 2021

    As we've been sailing off 2011 courses until now, we feel it's time to revisit them. We've checked them for accuracy and introduced some shorter, closer to shore ones for the parallel series for Juniors and those who don't want a longer course.
