2023 Programmed Socials and Pricing Guide
The dates for our 2023 socials are now on the online programme including our speaker supper socials which take place on the 3rd Thursday of the month.
All events are easy to book through the website, and are usually available to book a month or so in advance. We announce when bookings are open on the Weekly Roundup.
Remember our regular monthly socials;
Happy Hour is the 1st Friday of the month 18:00-19:00 hours,
Ollie hosts Fish Night on the last Friday of the month and Steak Night on the 2nd Friday of the month. Bookings for both of those essential and are booked directly with Ollie by telephone 01243 373065 or email olliechef@aol.com
We are conscious that the year ahead will be challenging for different reasons as we find ourselves in a tough economic climate. With that in mind and at the request of members we are publishing the social prices for 2023 to help us all plan ahead.
Social events pricing guide
Dinner & welcome drink: £30 per person e.g. Christmas Draw Supper
Drinks & canapes (2 hours): £20 per person e.g. Pimm's Party
Drinks, canapes & entertainment (4 hours): £40 per person e.g. Charity Fizz Night
Speaker & supper: £15.95 per person (£13.95 for supper + £2 towards speaker expenses) e.g. regular monthly speaker suppers
Speaker only: £2 per person towards speaker expenses
Ollie's themed suppers: £30 per person to dine in, £27.50 per head to take away.
The price per person for social events has been calculated to cover all costs incurred, e.g. supper, drinks, entertainment, speaker expenses etc. There is an additional variable cost per ticket depending on the price of a band or a DJ. Ticket pricing has always been structured in this way, but there is an increase this year as the price of food etc. has increased. We will monitor all costs on an ongoing basis and will review ticket prices in August 2023, or as required dependant on the economic climate.
