Speaker supper » Speaker supper - Our Habitat Heroes Nature Recovery in Chichester Harbour

19th September, 19:00 - 22:30

This Talk will be hosted by the Friends of Chichester Harbour, a charity that raises money to support projects around the harbour, such as improving water quality, habitat regeneration and the science behind it all. We will hear from Kate L'Amie who is the Communications and Engagement Officer for Chichester Harbour Conservancy (CHC).

Kate will talk about the unique and special habitats of Chichester Harbour and provide an update on work that is being done to protect and restore them. With the four focus areas of saltmarsh, seagrass, coastal birds and water quality, Chichester Harbour Conservancy is leading a nature recovery partnership aimed at restoring the harbour to a favourable condition. This is a great opportunity to find out about all the positive projects happening in the Harbour now.

CHC is also a proud partner in the Solent Seascape Project, with the aim of seascape-scale marine restoration across the Solent.

Followed by supper of Haddock florentine with seasonal vegetables - lemon tart with sorbet & berries .£18.95 pp

Talk only - £4.00 pp

Guests of ESC members welcome.
