20th February, 19:00 - 22:30

Dr Jeremy Mantell shares a fascinating historical talk on the life and times of Commander JR Stenhouse who had a grueling role in Shackleton's Antarctic Ross Sea expedition in 1914. He then went on to have a distinguished record in WW1 and a 'Boys' Own' life between the wars, before his death on active service in the Red Sea during WW2, when his ship was sunk.
Follow by supper of classic coq au vin with herb mash & seasonal vegetables, followed by salted caramel profiteroles.
Talk only - £4.00 pp
