Trafalgar Night
ESC will celebrate Trafalgar night in the traditional manner on 21st October. This day on 21st October 1805 the Royal Navy won a decisive victory over the combined fleets of the French and Spanish Navies that set the course of European history, but Admiral Lord Nelson died in the battle.
The dinner is a formal event but always very lively and a lot of fun, with singing of sea shanties and a short speech, and of course an excellent 4 course dinner.
The guest of honour and speaker this year is Major General Tim Chicken.
