RYA Instructor's Induction

If you would like to work or volunteer at Emsworth Sailing Club in 2026 in any instructional capacity (RYA Senior Instructor, Dinghy Instructor, Windsurfing Instructor, Powerboat Instructor or Race Coach), you will need to be inducted into the Clubs Operational Policies and Procedures.
This is part of the Club's obligation as an RYA Training Centre and is also a necessary element of Health and Safety.
In short, it helps Instructors know their way around the Club and become effective trainers.
The content will include:
- Revised ESC's 2026 Operational Procedures
- ESC's Safeguarding Process
- Using ESC's VHF Radios
- Correct preparation of kit for the Club's powerboats
Induction will be through familiarising yourself with the ESC Operational Procedures Manual, attending the Induction session in person or virtually and achieving a pass in the subsequent quiz.
