Martlets Club
We are excited to launch a trial of the Martlets Club! This is a fantastic opportunity for our young sailors (Stage 1 and above) to get out on the water, build their skills, and gain confidence.
Like any sport, sailing takes time and practice to master. These informal sessions are designed to give young sailors crucial time at the helm, perfectly complementing the RYA training courses offered by the club.
The sessions will be led by an RYA Senior Instructor - assisted by other qualified parents.
However all parents must be prepared to help launch and recover boats - and there may be parent sessions too!.
Initially the sessions will run on the Millpond on Sundays.
Minimum requirement: RYA Stage 1
Minimum Age: School year 2
