ESC member Dr Katherine Bond is a performance psychologist and executive coach, who has supported Team GB and Paralympics GB in the last 6 Olympic/Paralympic Games. She mainly now works as a consultant and preparation psychologist for Paralympics GB, supporting the leadership team in their strategic preparation for the Games, as well as working at the Games in the core staff team in a coaching and operational role.

Paralympics GB have enjoyed unprecedented success over the last 20 years. One of the most successful GB teams in any single or multiple sports (and more successful than Team GB!), Katherine will share what goes on behind the scenes to bringing a contingent of 600 athletes and staff to the complex and chaotic "Greatest Show On Earth" and enabling them to break records and bring back record medal hauls.

Followed by supper: Moroccan lamb tagine with rice and flatbread (vegetarian option available), lemon posset with berry coulis and shortcake. £15.95pp

For 2023 there is a modest fee of £2.00 per person for the talk (this fee is included the supper cost). This covers speaker fees or charity donations in lieu of fees, and any expenses. These are all pre agreed at time of booking the speaker.
