For our September Speaker supper we are delighted to be welcoming Trevor Davies.

Since 2019 Trevor has chaired the Trustees of the Emsworth Maritime and Historical Trust. In addition to its responsibility for Emsworth Museum, the Trust organises a programme of historical walks during the summer and talks throughout the winter months.

Trevor's talk will explore the fascinating history of Cecil Whitaker and Warblington Castle.

Following his retirement, Trevor completed a degree in Archaeology at the University of Reading. He has served as Chairman and subsequently President of the Chichester and District Archaeology Society. During his time with the Society, members undertook excavations at the Roman Villa at Warblington.

A selection of the most significant finds from these excavations is now on display at Emsworth Museum.
