RYA Powerboat Level 2 (March)

Learn to drive a powerboat safely. If you’re new to powerboating, this practical course will prepare you with the safe driving and handling skills you need to complete short day trips in a powerboat.

Covering the theory and practical skills needed to become a competent powerboat driver, the course focuses on low speed close quarters handling, man overboard recovery, driving at planning speed and collision regulations.

There are no pre-requisites for this course.

You will need to provide your own life jacket or buoyancy aid.

Timings may vary according to weather and tide times – your instructor will confirm close to the event.

Minimum age:14

This course runs on a ratio of 3 students to 1 instructor. The course will only run with sufficient candidates.
