Welcome to social sailing
The way I see social sailing is - it's a relaxed, non-competitive time on the water with patrol boat back up. There are plenty of racing opportunities at the Club - this is not one of them!
The sails are planned for Mondays and Fridays, and it's up to you to be as sociable as you like!
We'll have a lovely sail-about and return to the Club for refreshments so bring your card or money.
Guidance
The start time means "rigged and ready" to launch your boat! So please allow yourself at least 1/2 hr before the start time to get organised. Please sign on to let us know you're coming beforehand and to help the patrol boats know numbers. You can do this in advance (and remove yourselves if you change your mind).
You can use the Club boats for a discounted 50% rate for social sailing, but they must be booked in advance via the office.
Lastly, I intend to meet up whatever the weather: howling gale means hot chocolate and drinks; flat calm means swim, paddleboards, kayaks and drinks.
