Accessibility Survey 2020 Report

Published 12:29 on 18 Nov 2020
An accessibility survey was conducted early 2020, and the findings were summarised for distribution to Members and for consideration by General Committee and the relevant subcommittees. This survey forms part of our objective to ensure we do what we can to make the Club accessible as possible for all our members.
Due to Covid-19 in March, the initial lockdown and then our focus on re-opening the Club and keeping the sailing and social programme running as safely as possible adhering to Government guidance we paused the Accessibility Survey Findings review.
As we prepare our 2021 programme it is timely for us to revisit the survey and incorporate the findings into our planning. The findings are now with GC and the sub committees (Estates, House and Sailing) to discuss and agree recommended next steps. Please see the Accessibility Report, that summarises the survey responses and the suggestions, in our Members Area here.
We would like to thank all our members who contributed to the survey.
