Upcoming RYA Training
Summer Holiday Training Week: 10 - 14 August
RYA Stage 1: 09:30-13:00 hours - 2 spaces still available
RYA Stage 2: 14:00-17:30 hours - 3 spaces still available
RYA Stage 3: 1 space remaining on the harbour, timings move with tide.
If no-one else books, the following courses will probably be cancelled:
RYA Stage 4: 5 spaces remaining.
RYA Sailing with Spinnakers: Move your double-handed sailing on and learn the skills you need to successfully use the spinnaker - 4 spaces remaining.

RYA Powerboat training
Learning to powerboat with our experienced team on the RYA Powerboat Level 2 course is enjoyable. We offer a safe, fun, and friendly environment for beginners to learn the powerboat essentials. We will cover boat handling, safety equipment, launching, and water safety. Learners gain hands-on experience while building confidence.

RYA Safety Boat: Saturday 31 October - Sunday 1 November
The RYA Safety Boat course is a practical, two-day programme that covers advanced boat handling, rescue techniques, towing methods and more allowing you to feel confident that you have the skills to act as patrol boat for all club activities. ESC powerboat familiarisation sessions
Got your RYA PB2 elsewhere? Or just want a confidence boost and a recap on ESC-specific procedures before you sign up for a duty? We are running a number of weekday and weekend sessions to get you comfortable handling our club boats. More dates will be available soon, and more information will be available in the Weekly Roundup once they are confirmed.
RYA Race Coach Level 2: Saturday 14 Sunday 15 November
This intensive two-day course looks at different areas of coaching and how to apply coaching skills in a practical series of on-the-water exercises. The course aims to provide candidates with techniques to coach racing to youth and adult sailors safely. RYA First Aid: Saturday 7 November
