Upcoming RYA training
Summer Holiday Training Week: 10 - 14 August
For details on all the courses please visit the website, but this is a quick breakdown of what is available
RYA Stage 1 this course will now take place in the mornings - there are 2 spaces still available.
RYA Stage 2 this course will now take place in the afternoons - there are 3 spaces still available
RYA Stage 3 1 space remaining
If no-one else books the following courses will probably be cancelled:
RYA Stage 4 5 spaces remaining.
RYA Start Racing This course gives you the skills to start taking on junior racing at the club. 6 spaces remaining
RYA Sailing with Spinnakers Move your double handed sailing on and learn the skills you need to successfully use the spinnaker. 5 spaces remaining
RYA Seamanship Skills Described by those who have done the course as the most fun course as it takes you beyond the basic skills and teaches you how to get the most from your boat and includes all the skills that are needed for the DI preassessment - including rudderless sailing. 6 spaces remaining

RYA Powerboat Training

Learning to powerboat with our experienced team on the RYA Powerboat Level 2 course is really enjoyable. We offer a safe, fun, and friendly environment for beginners to learn powerboat essentials. We will cover boat handling, safety equipment, launching and water safety. Learners gain hands-on experience while building confidence.

ESC Powerboat Boat Handling and Confidence building session - women only 21 July 16:00
Hold your PB2 but don't feel you have the confidence to cox a club boat for a duty? Join this session with one of our female Powerboat Instructors to practice your boat handling skills and boost your confidence. Book here to reserve your place.

Got your RYA PB2 elsewhere? Or just want a confidence boost and a recap on ESC-specific procedures before you sign up for a duty? We are running a number of weekday and weekend sessions to get you comfortable handling our club boats.
