Rioja Wine Dinner
Rioja is not only Spain's most famous quality wine region but it is also currently one of the world's most talked wine producing areas. The last few decades have seen an amazing re-focus on vineyards and wine styles and quality has risen to the point where Rioja is probably on the cusp of a new 'golden era'. Rioja now offers such a diversity of styles from traditional wines such as Crianza and Reserva through to Single Vineyard wines and the often overlooked Blancos and Rosados.
Hosted by Alistair Gibson of Heritage Cellars who has visited Rioja on many occasions, this is a wonderful opportunity to taste some of the region's most interesting wines. Alistair will present a number of wines from the region with a dinner consisting of a glass of sparkling wine on arrival followed 5 small plates, 'Tapas' style.
