Dinghy evolution, stories in pictures: from planks to plastics
Ben Oakley who races dinghies in Emsworth, also writes and presents in his work for the Open University, and will guide us on a visual evolutionary journey from the 1940s, when dinghies were made of planks, through to the millennium. He will use a rich pictorial record accompanied by a commentary of how emerging technologies, new designs and social changes help explain the blend of dinghy classes we see today.
