Blake Fund for Young Sailors - 50:50 Lottery Draw 7 August

After four months' absence from the club, it was great to hold the Blake Fund Lottery Draw again, on the upper deck on Friday 7th August. The July draw was carried out by Pippa Blake with Chris Clode (Trustee) overseeing proceedings. £470 was raised by 94 ticket holders of which £235 goes to our junior sailors. £84 was divided between three ticket holders and £151 is carried forward to our next bonus draw in October. The winning bonus ticket is expected to be well over £400!

Many thanks to all our ticket holders who have remained wonderfully loyal to the Blake Fund during these difficult times. We now need to increase the number of ticket holders so that we can provide more money for our junior sailors for their very worthwhile causes. Please encourage everyone to join the more people who join the lottery, the more money we will raise!
