2021 FinGM Update

The 2021 Financial General Meeting took place on Thursday 29 April. A record 119 members registered to attend the Zoom webinar and though we were disappointed to have to hold the meeting virtually, it went very smoothly thanks to the efforts of a small team of hard-working volunteers.

Motions 1-7 related to updates and amendments to the ESC Rules. Motions 8&9 were General Committee motions related to the allocation of the Government business support grants received in 2020/21 to cover COVID-related costs and losses. My thanks to all of those members who attended the meeting, and to Liz Summers, John Derbyshire, Edward Parsons, Simon Langford, Victoria Lovell, Tim Keeping, Craig Summers and Debs Owen-Ellis Clark for their very hard work in preparing for (and delivering) the meeting.
