This weekend provides a great opportunity for our sailors to have fun! Team Racing is an exciting format with each team sailing in two 2000s. Coming first in a race doesn't guarantee a win; what really matters is making sure neither you nor your teammate come last. Known colloquially as 'Chess On Water', these short (approximately 7-10 minute races) are exciting to watch and even more exciting to partake in.

If Team Racing is new to you and you would like to join in, we would love to have you. Our practice session will be held on Saturday 10 August from 13:30 hours until around 17:00 hours.

ESSC has withdrawn from the Team Racing Yoke, so on Sunday 11 August we will now run a series of 'friendly' races with a sailor briefing at 14:00 hours and racing from 15:00 hours.

The tide times are excellent, sunshine and moderate winds are forecast, the bar will be open and Ollie is making cakes so the stage is set! Spectators welcome!
