Fed Week

Chichester Harbour Race Week, aka Fed Week, at HISC brought five days of light winds and strong tides, but plenty of competitive racing across all ages and classes. It's quite a sight to see around 350 boats spread across the water, although perhaps less impressive if you're trying to get out of Itchenor in a yacht!

ESC sent a full complement of racers and came away with some excellent results in the inter-club challenge: second place for the Junior team and third for the Seniors. A great achievement all round.

Individual honours went to Christian Reynolds, who took first place in the Musto Skiff, and Ella G, who won the ILCA 4. Jonny Hepworth and Nicky Lomax finished second in the 2000, while Ben J took second in the ILCA 4. Congratulations to everyone who competed.

And finally, a big thank you to the volunteers aboard Escort and Escimo who helped with the race organisation. Five days of keeping an eye on the racing while eating lots of chocolate in the sunshine... it's tough, but someone has to do it!
