Time on the Tide - 17 to 20 August

Time on the Time is aimed at those children that want to have fun on the water but may not be ready or interested in the racing structure.

These are not training sessions but the AI will provide activities and sailing advice to participants. The focus will be on having fun on the water and is designed to be an informal event. Each participant should have completed RYA Stage 2 and have some experience sailing independently on the harbour.

The AI running the event is a volunteer and will need help to make these events successful. Please put your name forward as crew or shore parent when booking, which will be open on Thursday the 29th. The maximum number is based on a ratio of safety boat to participants, therefore if another competent cox and crew volunteers we can extend availability, please contact Andrew Devonport if you can help.

We hope this new type of session meets a need in giving experience and having fun on the harbour for our Junior sailors.
