Rally to France- Friday 11 August - Sunday 13 August

You are invited to our cruise across the channel to Cherbourg. Bring your boat or come as guest crew. Open to ESSC and ESC members, and previous rally goers ! Cruise in company or join us over the weekend! There may also be opportunities to join in as crew. Also there is the option of coming by ferry and staying in a local hotel close to our boats in the Marina.

Current plans include welcome drinks on Friday evening, a pontoon party on Saturday afternoon, an optional superb dinner at Cafe de Paris on Saturday evening and on Sunday, a visit to Cave L'Enchanterie in the charming village of Le Vast, overlooking the Normandy Beaches. This will include, St Vaast Oysters and a French style Lamb BBQ, with wine.

We have negotiated some really good local deals, so the cost of the Saturday sparkling wine pontoon party, Sunday BBQ with wine, coach transport etc will be about £65 per person, subject to exchange rate fluctuation. The optional Saturday evening dinner, with wine at Cafe de Paris will be about £49 / head.

How to Reserve a Place : At this stage we are looking for expressions of interest only, to get some idea of numbers and feasibility. So please email the organiser and state if Interested or definitely planning to join in, with boat size and expected number on board. You'll the be kept in touch as our plans develop.
