Pool

It's fantastic to see the pool open and being well used, and members getting to grips with the booking system! Click on this link in the members area.

Vandals recently broke in and damaged the pool cover - many thanks to Marcus Lawson and Graham for repairing it.

We will shortly be putting a combination padlock on the pool gate, and the combination will be posted on the SCM booking page. If you are the first swimmer of the day, please unlock the padlock and lock it on the railing next to the gate.

Ollie has kindly agreed to ensure that the gate is padlocked at the end of each day - many thanks Ollie.

Toilets

Please note that the upstairs Ladies Toilets are closed to members at present. These have been designated as staff toilets for Ollie's team until the clubhouse is fully open.

Ladies - disabled and portaloo on terrace, unisex in clubhouse (diners only)

Gents - men's changing rooms, clubhouse (diners only).

Guests

We need to be able to track everyone entering and leaving the Club in case of any COVID-19 breakout. Please therefore note that guests are only allowed to the Club if they have a restaurant booking. Ollie's team will sign them in on arrival. Tables of up to 6 can be booked, but they must be from 2 households only.

Guests can also pass across the terrace to sail with members. Please do not bring guests just to relax and drink on the terrace.

We will of course relax this restriction as soon as we are able, so that we can welcome guests as usual..

Table Cleaning

All outside tables should be cleaned/sanitised regularly, but what often happens is that friends join and leave tables so that there is no time when tables are empty, making it difficult for staff to clean them.

Cleaning agents have been provided at the bottom of the steps to the upper terrace and we would ask that you regularly clean tables at which you are sitting.
