Due to the Government announcement, we have postponed the Pimm's and Canapes Summer Social.
As the Government has postponed the easing of lockdown on June 21st, we have rescheduled our social events in accordance with Government Social Distancing Guidelines. We are still planning on being able to hold our summer socials pending the Government announcement on July 5th 2021, and hopefully final lock down easing July 19th 2021. To plan ahead and be as flexible as possible we have moved the dates around as follows:
Booking is now open for our first social event. We are looking forward to getting together at the Club for a relaxed afternoon of Pimm's and canapes on the terrace and deck accompanied by 'The Lady Sings'. Dress code is relaxed British Summer!
We can host 120 on the Terrace and Deck in total, we will close off the deck and the terrace outside the Clubhouse for the event, and will provide 'event identity'.
£15.00 per person for Pimm's and canapes, initially tickets available to ESC members only, no guests please.
We will not be invoicing or taking payment at the time of booking. Once we know the outcome of the Government's announcement on 5 July 2021, when it will be confirming details about the forthcoming lockdown easing on 19 July, and any changes to the original roadmap, all bookings will be invoiced.
We have carefully planned the event, as we know many members will be coming to a social for the first time since the pandemic. We continue to follow Government guidelines and carrying out thorough risk assessments so we know we have done all we can to keep our members, our team and Ollie's team safe.
Of course, we all need to ensure we do our bit, so if anyone who has booked to attend is feeling unwell or has been with someone who is feeling unwell, we will ask that they don't join the event.
Please do note that the Club is open to other members for bar drinks and bar meals during the Pimms and canapes social, and the tables at the far end of the terrace will still be available for members to use.
Post-event, Ollie will be offering a set 2-course menu, £20pp, for tables of 6 or 2 households in the Clubhouse. Please book your table directly with Ollie on 01243 373065.
