RC Open Day - Saturday 1 March at 11:00 hours.

Just a quick reminder about the RC Open Day we have scheduled for Saturday 1 March at 11:00 hours.

It's that time to bite the bullet and follow the fastest growing form of sailing (Source: - Iffy News Corp) at the moment and join us on the pond (weather allowing) for a trial of the popular DF95 RC racing sailing yacht and some low key racing. The plan is to have some social sailing using current members boats together with Double Zero, the club's own boat so everyone should get some time at the helm. It's then a move to the club's North Room at about 12:00 hours, for a beer and briefing on purchasing, setup and maintenance. Really hope you find time to come and have a go.
For existing members, please do still come along on Saturday to help out and provide coaching or just join in the fun. If there is excessive wind or rain, please go straight to the North Room where we can show the kit and chat excessively about nothing until the bar opens.

DF95 Open Morning: Saturday 1 March, 11:00 hours
Attention new and existing members of the ESC Radio Sailing group - come and try the DF95 and some radio sailing, then attend a FAQ and tuning session in the Club's North Room (or available space) afterwards. Starts at 11:00 hours in the Club car park or if there is excessive wind or rain, go straight to the North Room we'll close with beers and war stories afterwards in the bar.
