Speaker Supper - A warrior from the heroic age of Antarctic exploration.
Dr Jeremy Mantell shares a fascinating historical talk on the life and times of Commander JR Stenhouse who had a gruelling role in Shackleton's Antarctic Ross Sea expedition in 1914. He then went on to have a distinguished record in WW1 and a 'Boys' Own' life between the wars, before his death on active service in the Red Sea during WW2, when his ship was sunk.
