John Gleadall is a musician, teacher, singer, guitarist, composer, and choir leader who spent many years as Director of Music in Hampshire schools. He has written numerous musicals performed in schools and major theatres, including the Kings Theatre Southsea, New Theatre Royal Portsmouth, and Chichester Festival Theatre. His children's musical The Button Box, published by Starshine Music, has been staged internationally, including at the Royal Albert Hall. He has also composed music for several professionally performed productions, including Team, Shakespeare's Lost Women, The Unquiet Grave, The Lady of Jazz, Poisoned Beds, and Separate Ways.
