ESC success at the Eric Twiname eSailing Championships 2020

Over the weekend the Eric Twiname eSailing Championships were held and over 100 sailors and 200 junior sailors turned up to race on the virtual seas of Portsmouth. ESC was very well placed in the results with Henry Chandler winning the RS Aero Virtual Champs B and presumably securing a place in the RYA Spring Class Champs in June. Tommy Millard came second in the show-down final of the Eric Twiname Junior Champs, having won the Techno windsurfer heats first. Very well done to both and we look forward to more eSailing exploits as the lockdown summer progresses. A good start to ESC representation after just over a month of club events.
Not taking anything away from the achievements of these two budding stars, we suspect that they may have put in a little time at the e-helm to hone their already well-known on-the-water achievements!
