Vote for your Club! The voting is now open for the RYA and Y&Y Club of the Year

Although ESC didn't win - the very worthy winner was Port Dinorwic SC in Wales - it was great that we were one of the finalists.
It is with great excitement that we can announce that ESC is a finalist in the RYA and Yachts and Yachting 'Club of the Year Award 2021'.
We have been recognised as the winner of the 'Sustainability' category and one of two clubs representing the RYA South Region in the final.
Our efforts and leadership in taking the environment seriously have made it to The News (Portsmouth).
Such recognition is raising awareness of the impact our actions are having on the harbour we love.
The final round will be decided by a public vote of RYA members and readers of Y&Y. All finalists will be featured in the winter issue of the RYA Magazine and the January issue of Y&Y.
Online voting has begun and the winner of "Club of the Year" will be announced at the RYA Virtual Dinghy Show on 27th February.
This is a first for our club and a huge achievement not only to make it into the finals, but also to achieve special recognition for our work on the environment.
This is a huge first for our club and an amazing achievement not only to make it into the finals, but also to achieve special recognition for our work on the environment. Many thanks to all ESC members of all ages who helped make this change possible and who continue to support us as we plan for the future.
